How does the word transparency rate in your discussions in-house?

This article is ALL about transparency as an Agent.  But, more to the point, the kind of transparency as an Agent, I am almost certain you don’t have that transparency view right now as a property practitioner.  

The 3 L’s in Real Estate

What does your actual production or more the point, your Admin look like?  I am fairly certain you already know the value of KW’s 3 L’s:

That Fine Day In February 2023

As a property practitioner myself, I have had my fair share of dips. I have also had my fair share of peaks.  But when it rains it is the most delightful thing that can happen.  And, yes, the KW Cool Aid is lovely. That day in February 2023 was just like any other day.  My response rate got to 7% which is pretty good.  You see if you want it to rain sales you need to work on your first L which is leads.  The Leads engine must just keep grinding away.  Day in and Day out.

I am curious though 

Are you currently able to track your production?  I can.  And I do.  It’s what drives what I earn as a business owner with KW Select.  I am not the best in the business but I truly believe in the concept of working smarter, not harder.  The graph below shows Listings, Contracts/Mandates and Registrations.  See the lift it’s a PB for me but especially the dark blue line.  Back to transparency as an Agent though…

BUT, Who Harvests Your Water When It Does Rain?  This Is Real Transparency!

When it does start to Rain Sales in your direction, who harvests your rainwater?

Do you actually track the commission your agency earns from your efforts?  I bet they do!!!  Does your estate agency or your principal actually tell you how much they have earned from your efforts when YOU make YOUR sales?  Working YOUR Admin.   No bells, no whistles, just pure and utter transparency as an Agent.  This should also be a regular discussion internally!  Do you know what you are worth to your agency in a 12-month period?  I bet it’s more than R140,000 per year.  Hmmm…

Working Towards Your CAP

If you are not working towards a threshold that allows you to CAP, chances are you are not earning 92% of your commission.  Chances are also that your Agency is earning way more than R140,000 in a 12-month period.

Do you have transparent conversations about how much your agency has earned from your efforts?  Chances are that you have never considered it because we are all just trying to create RAIN.

Having Transparent As An Agent, Conversations Is Critical
