Let me recap if you are in a hurry…..
- The market is not as strong as it was last year. For a number of reasons actually but mainly due to our current economic climate (higher interest rate, stretched affordability from buyers, higher debt servicing costs, and increased load-shedding).
- Properties are taking longer to sell and are noted at 85 days or 12.1 weeks. This is down from 4% last year.
- The House Price Index has dropped, showing a 1.9% growth year on year for the current period. That means prices are falling. It is also a buyer’s market which means accurate pricing at a property valuation stage is now essential.
If you have a property on the market that is not selling, we know the whys.
But rather than just drop and shed your equity that has built up over time, let us get you a second opinion on the current asking price of your property. The market is tough at the moment and knowledge is power in the current market knowing exactly how to navigate the current market is absolutely essential. Click here to book your property valuation.
Properties Are Selling!
But the properties that are selling are the ones that align with what has sold in the last 12 months. Sales are being made for well-priced properties and by that I mean realistically priced properties that align with current market performance. Click here to book your property valuation.
